What we do – Performance and value
We work with clients to provide the insights and information needed to support decision making and performance improvement:
- performance evaluation and management such as establishing and reviewing regulatory contract delivery, benchmarking and efficiency assessment, including econometric analysis
- evaluation and management of regulatory risk
- advisory services to investors whether during transactions or in providing regular post-transaction independent briefings, advice and risk reviews
- independent advice to members of investor consortia on performance and valuation reports
- analysis and submissions on Government and regulatory consultations/reviews and Competition Commission enquiries on issues such as market structure, competition, incentives, efficiency and financial issues
- litigation support and expert advice
We bring together our cross-sectoral experience and economic knowledge to undertake value-adding in-depth analysis and modelling that provides decision-support for our clients. This is applied in either stand alone projects or in support of our other activities such as strategy and policy development. Our stand-alone activities include efficiency and cost benefit analysis.
We use the underlying economics to look at issues from a practical and commercial point of view. We consider and question the assumptions organisations make and help to identify the information boards or decision makers need. We develop processes to ensure that the needs of the organisation have been properly defined and to provide reassurance that information is robust.
