Matthew Parr
Principal Consultant
Matthew advises clients in the infrastructure sector, working with governments, regulators, companies and investors. At Indepen he has worked on a variety of projects in the rail, airports, energy and telecoms sectors. He specialises in the water sector having previously worked at Ofwat, where his responsibilities included cost, efficiency and financial issues, as well as assessing the implications of changes in company ownership.
Working with companies to identify and manage the key value drivers, and associated regulatory risks, Matt advises on regulatory strategy, policy, engagement and performance issues. He also leads Indepen’s practice advising investors and has been involved in many of the recent acquisitions in the water sector advising either acquirers or existing owners.
