Matthew Elson

Associate
Matthew works on corporate and business unit strategy development and implementation, together with the supporting organisational and culture change processes. He has particular expertise in regulation and partnerships between the public and private sector.

He has spent time with McKinsey & Company and as Managing Director of Atkins, the UK’s largest engineering consultancy, advising transport, utility, manufacturing and professional services companies. He has also had direct experience of managing and transforming manufacturing and service companies. Matthew was, for three years, a Senior Policy Adviser on Transport in the Prime Ministers’ Office, No 10 Downing Street.

He has a track record of success in business management and the ability dramatically to improve business performance through a distillation of key sources of value and the execution of the resulting business plan.

He graduated with a 1st Class degree in Engineering, Economics and Management from Oxford University and is fluent in French and Spanish.
