Martin Blaxall

Director
Martin works with charities, companies, regulators and government departments helping them understand the opportunities to develop their knowledge, engagement and influencing capabilities and then align and implement internal and external programmes to achieve the improvements. This includes small, start up charities dealing with governance, branding and funding matters and major corporates facing the challenges of public policy and regulatory change. Martin has strong project management skills and has extensive experience of managing complex, multi-disciplinary initiatives, often crossing sectors and organisations.

Before joining Indepen Martin’s career was in the energy sector leaving National Grid Transco as Head of Corporate Communications in 2004. Martin has a degree from Cambridge University and is a qualified Company Secretary. He is Chairman of Entelechy Arts, a charity working with people in south-east London who have learning disabilities.
