Until 2005 Brian was Chief Executive Officer of RWE Trading, the energy trading arm of RWE which had turnover of €8 billion and 500 employees, and was based in Essen Germany. He had previously held senior executive posts with Innogy plc, National Power plc and CEGB.
He is currently a non-Executive Director of a range of publicly listed and private companies and a leading adviser to governments and others on innovative approaches to energy, climate change, and public policy formulation matters.
